- Pick your favorite schools from the list – the ones you hope respond
- Create an email that you will BCC to each school
- Know your educational scores – you will be asked
- Send emails to 100+ schools, hoping for 10% hit rate
- Organize a call with the coach; learn about the program & if you fit in with the team
- Go for an official visit at the school; see if it is right for you
- Decide on your favorite school and apply officially
- Get your scholarship offer and apply that to your account; apply for sports registration
